He's got family portraits all afternoon.

They've been booked in for weeks.

- Could you tell them you're ill?

You'd have our undying gratitude and a store discount, and Mrs C will cook you hot pots for a month.

- I've made worse excuses.

- But shoot, develop, and deliver in one day?

And they've no studio.

- Do it on the meadows.

- No, it'll look too twee.

- The natural light would help and it's a great backdrop and less travel.

- So you'll do it?
