- Well, that's great, isn't it?
This series, what a wonderful thing.
Series 10, thank you!
The two women are actually gonna be doing something together, it's fantastic.
- I've left Swinnertons!
- Forget the tea.
Get the sherry!
- They kind of find themselves in a similar pool of thinking.
They're in their later years, and what happens now?
- I want to work, but I don't wanna be dismissed.
- They just don't know what could possibly be next.
- With my brains and your passion for fashion, Cambridge isn't gonna know what's hit it!
- I was really hoping you were gonna say that.
- Where it brilliantly matches the two of them is that, y'know, Cathy has the ideas and the belief in fashion and how to sell clothes and Mrs. C has a very practical, business-like mind, but when they go into business together, it hopefully is gonna be a great success.
- Hello, lovelies!
- Oh, don't they look wonderful!
- Cathy really is a person who keeps up with trends.
- Last time I saw whirl-a-ways Like that, we were rationing!
- At the beginning of the series, I was wearing very particular kind of outfits, y'know, and also then I went into the big skirts, and now I'm into a much slimmer silhouette.
- Fashion is changing with you!
It's changing with you all the time.
- Yeah, I'm really enjoying it.
- I like the style of '62.
I love the dresses and the makeup and how people looked.
- I really enjoy the fashion.
When he goes on a date with Meg, his shirt and his trousers and his shoes, his watch that he wears.
It's just a simple classic watch, but I've been wearing it for four months now and I want to get one like this myself 'cause it's really cool.
- My dad was a rock'n'roller, huge Elvis fan, and Bill Haley, he wore the teddy boy gear.
And, y'know, that kind of color, that kind of hair and that notion of personal responsibility and appearance, that chicness of dress and the way they looked.
- I mean, the fashion of the '60s, it was incredible.
